LD Friday Freebie: Thinking Cap Cut Its (SVG) and Graphic Set

It's Friday and there are a lot of new LD on their site today but first, here's today's freebie:

Many of you should know how to get the freebies by now but for the benefit of those who are new to this blog, to get the free files, just CLICK HERE or the image above to go to the LD site. Add the items to your cart by checking on the little square next to the word "cart". Go through the checkout process (you will be asked to pay $0.00) and you will be given the download links on the last page as well as in your email "purchase" confirmation. Click on those links to start downloading your freebies.

These freebies will expire on Sunday night so don't wait to get them.

By the way,  if you use the SVG, you may notice that the cap is only 1.8" tall when you bring it onto your virtual mat. Unless your electronic cutter is able to handle intricate cuts well, you may want to increase the size of the image. This is because there are a few areas where the cuts are fairly small.

I used Silhouette Studio (Designer Ed.) to cut the cap at the original size and the Cameo did well with all the cuts. (Yay, Cameo!).

Here's how my completed card looks like:

While you were checking out with your freebie, you may have noticed that LD has also updated the Sneak-Peek-of-the-Month. For a limited time you can get the Party Back to School Collection at 50% when you are on the way to checkout. The offer will end when LD changes the Sneak-Peek-of-the-Month in October.

Also, don't forget to check out all the new sets and bundles. There's the Widgets and What-nots Collection, the No Brainer Cut It Bundle (GREAT PRICE!), and the new Thingamabox , Ribbon Handle Boxes, and Flower Gift Card set by Patricia Zapata. Click HERE to look at all the new stuff.

It's time to get my girls from school (Woohoo!). Today seemed to have passed by faster than the last few days. Who knows, maybe I could actually get used to this after all. :-)

Have a great weekend, everyone!

  1. Hi Jin,
Can you share what font you used on the word "Wow!" in orange? You also used it the other day on the back to school photo I believe. It looks like an alpha that's scribbled in. Thank you so much!

  2. Jin, what paper did you use for your Thinking Cap? I'm thinking (ha ha) that this is the perfect card to send to my college kids from church.
